Meet Sandra J. Carter
Sandra J. Carter’s practice includes intellectual property, business and real estate across the litigation and transactional spectrums while also leading NBM’s oil & gas practice. Sandra has provided land services for the oil and gas industry for over 20 years, starting her career as an independent landman and as a land and title services broker. Sandra then served as an in-house division order analyst for a mid-sized exploration and production company, and later as an in-house landman for a small independent operator. Sandra’s industry experience includes field title work, lease and contract negotiations, project management, and acquisition/divestiture due diligence.
Sandra brings a commonsense business-minded approach to helping clients while utilizing her broad knowledge base of real estate, mineral interests, intellectual property, and the oil and gas industry to provide practical solutions and advice to clients. Sandra’s practice includes handling litigation matters in state and federal court, mineral title examination, due diligence review for the acquisition and/or divestiture of leasehold and mineral properties, drafting agreements and title curative instruments, and most recently assisting clients with Colorado probate proceedings.
Sandra earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Idaho and her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
Sandra lives in the S.E. suburbs of the Denver metro area with her husband, PC, and two daughters.
