Meet Sam Thomas
Sam Thomas brings a charismatic and practical approach to his work as an attorney. He has practiced in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, municipal defense, medical malpractice, business administration, and labor and employment law. Sam has a passion for Business Law, Intellectual Property, and Litigation. He brings exceptional skills in getting positive outcomes for clients to the team.
During his time in law school at Gonzaga, Sam was very active on campus. He served as the Comments Editor on 2019 Law Review and won a school wide writing competition with his submission, Pena-Rodriguez v. Colorado: A Constitutional Battle of Public Policy, 53 GONZ. L. REV. 3 (2018). Sam also served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association and was a two-time member of the Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court team where he made oral arguments at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Before attending Law School, Sam earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Communication, History, and Business Administration from William Jewell College in Kansas City, Missouri. Sam played Baseball for the William Jewell College Cardinals where he was a four-time letterman, captain, and 2014 Teammate of the Year.
After graduating cum laude from the University of Gonzaga School of Law, Sam returned to his hometown of Denver, Colorado. Sam enjoys spending time in the Colorado outdoors, golfing, hanging with his family, and with his two basset hounds—Walter and Odie.
